This blog has its foundations in conversations which in many cases have had their origin at the family table over a meal. They arise from a concern for the Church of Jesus Christ and its mission. While general in this sense, they are marked by the particularities of their context, both Anglican and Canadian. They aspire to be intensely theological, though philosophical and political themes are clearly in the mix. What follows seeks to extend these conversations in a way faithful to our perceived role as thinking Christians in the 21st century--fair, patient, and above all relentlessly critical of our own enterprise.
